For the next few months, FCS theme will focus on our response to our Awesome God (who loves us, died for us, provides for us, and is our good shepherd). When we “Be still, and know that He is God,” that should stir a thankful reaction in us – a transformed life in God’s saving power. We need to have a personal friendship with God and spend time with Him – to grow in Him and see how He is working (January). We should give our praise and worship to Him (February), and we need to ponder on God’s Word and Biblical truths, applying His ways in our lives (March). We can talk to God in prayer, expressing our thoughts and feelings, thanking Him, and learning to listen to Him (April). And we should pursue an active faith in God, being people who walk by faith and serve our living God (May).

This January, our theme verse is from Jeremiah 29:13: "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart"
